Plan for your future exit –  Identification of potential acquirers and their strategic drivers

We strongly advocate that however far away a potential exit, it is important to maintain a list of potential acquirers and value drivers. This is something that may well evolve and change over time however on the basis that “companies are bought and not sold”, it is worth considering what the potential acquirers will value strategically and ensure you are well positioned with this in mind. We will then help you:

  • Document a list of potential acquirers
  • Detail their value drivers
  • Run a buyer awareness programme to ensure you come up on their radar
  • Finally on an annual basis we would suggest reviewing this list to ensure it is kept up to date.
